Scardey Squirrel was a fantastic exciting adventure story. Scaredy Squirrel lives in a big tree surrounded by the unknown. He lives in fear of tarantulas, killer bees, sharks, poison ivy and Martians. One day the unexpected happens and you have to read to find out the rest. Melanie Watt draws very appealing pictures to capture your attention. You can read more reviews here and here. The grade 3/4’s at our school thought this book deserved 6 stars out of 6.

Scaredy squirrel is a super super funny book!
I wish that I could read it every day . I was amazing book.

I think it was cool that the author showed us what scaredy squirrel did in a day in a neat way. I think that it deserves a 6/6.

This book was awesome, I LOVED it! It was really funny. I loved the entire book! I think everyone should read this book! I like it when Scaredy Squirrel asks everyone to wash their hands with antibacterial soap before reading the book. My favorite part was when Scaredy Squirrel is in no hurry to pick up his emergency kit. (Because it landed in a bush of poison ivy!) I gave this book 6/6 stars.

Thanks for coming to visit Naomi, Shay and Mackenzie. I appreciate your reasoning when you say your favourite parts. Shay, what was neat about how the author showed Scaredy’s day? Mackenzie, which parts did you find were funny?
I enjoyed the picture of Scaredy Squirrel when he was all dressed up in his emergency gear.
